Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Midwestern chicken wings

First contribution (and a tasty-sounding one at that) from a brand-new and very eager editor who should be welcomed. I've left a note on his talk page already. Move to transwiki to the cookbook and delete with kindness. - Lucky 6.9 01:18, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- I understand. I thought it was a popular enough thing to make it here. Im confused because other recipes are already here, and are referred to from elsewhere.... Is there a category for recipes? I could of sworn the wiki cookbook simply referes to recipes in the wikipedia, perhaps I didnt pay attention. Does this mean that I should move it to the cookbook, or that is what will happen if the vote to delete is approved?? I agree it belongs there, not the encyclopedia, if they want it -
- Ooops, the other recipes are in the cookbook, not the encyclopedia..
- Transwiki to cookbook section of Wikibooks. There are still some recipes hanging about in the main encyclopedia section but we are trying to move them to teh right place whenever we find them. Rossami 03:11, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- I dropped a note on Josh's user talk page to explain why I speedy deleted Spicy Wings. Josh, when we find recipes, we send them to the Wikibooks. Because Wikibooks didn't start at the same time as Wikipedia, there may still be recipes around. If so, they are listed on VfD and moved when discovered. We appreciate your confusion and hope you don't lose heart over these votes. Delete. Geogre 03:48, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep as it stands (link to Wikibooks), or keep as redir directly to Wikibooks article. There are probably exceptions, but in general, I think all transwikied article should stay redirs to the new location because A) it helps users find info they're looking for, and B) it helps gain visibility/usage of Wikipedia's "sister" projects.
