So define secondary regions
[edit]So mention the legal status of "secondary regions". No mayor or president... say how they relate to "primary regions". Jidanni (talk) 11:49, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- Secondary regions are part of the Greater Golden Horseshoe but not part of the Golden Horseshoe itself. They are primarily used for planning purposes. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 16:33, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
Accuracy of the map
[edit]The municipal divisions and geography of the map showing the Golden Horseshoe looks pretty sketchy once you zoom in. I looked up the file and it seems to be used on many other articles. Is there anyone out there who could take a crack at a better version? 2607:FEA8:1B9C:A380:F466:6461:538C:2B1 (talk) 00:14, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- Please contact the creator of the map. Note that the user is not very active though occasionally made edits recently. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 00:22, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
"Core" versus "Non-Core"
[edit]Is there a reliable citation as to the distinction between "core" and "non-core" parts of the Golden Horseshoe or Greater Golden Horseshoe? I may be missing it. While I find this interesting, if there is no reliable source, this basically original research WP:OR. StillWatchesCartoons (talk) 22:29, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
