"Mail" meaning "post box"?
[edit]This is not mentioned in the target article (post box); are post boxes as discrete objects ever referred to as "mails", or is this just an extension of saying "put this in the mail"? If the latter, I don't think this is a reference to the boxes, but to the mail system in general, which would be like saying smartphones are sometimes called "The Internet". Would anyone say "the runaway car jumped the curb and smacked into a mail"?
Absent any mention in the target article or any reference, I think this entry should be deleted. Yours for over thinking, NapoliRoma (talk) 05:07, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
