I was born in Hungary, grew up in Vienna, Austria, and went to a French school there. I first studied Psychology at the University of Vienna, then Finno-Ugristics in Munich, Germany. I then lived five years in Rome, and six years in Barcelona, Spain. I finally settled down in California, where I now have been living for over ten years.

I have worked as a translator from French, Italian, and Spanish to German; as a language teacher; and as a free-lance journalist for German-speaking media.

You will not be surprised to hear that one of my main areas of interest are languages, and that is the field where I hope to contribute to this Wikipedia project.
