The result of the debate was KEEP with a disputed recommendation to merge Mobile Suit Gundam. The article has been significantly expanded since the discussion period began. Rossami (talk) 23:27, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)
another user says that its the control system in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. if the contnts not there it should be merged and redirectcted, but if the info is aready there then delete.. I sort of think its fancruft. Fledgeling 21:38, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I have a friend who I'll ask to look this over; she'll know whether there's enough for an article in itself or if it should just be merged into Newtype. I suspect that it's the latter, but she's the Gundam fan, not I... -- Antaeus Feldspar 23:33, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Her verdict: "Fold this into Newtype, by itself it's just meaningless. Especially since the psycommu is used specifically as a way of operating mobile suits. [...] we never see anything done with it in Gundam." So that's my vote, Merge into Newtype. -- Antaeus Feldspar 02:44, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I've tried to improve it a bit. I know a little about Gundam, although I don't particularly like the show; if the psycommu is the control device for the Gundams, it sounds important enough to have its own article. Keep. --Slowking Man 23:36, Dec 23, 2004 (UTC)
- Either Keep or Merge -- Robert Pendray 23:56, Dec 23, 2004 (UTC)
- The two lines in the article can likely be merged to Mobile Suit Gundam or something, perhaps the Gundam Seed article, since that's what this is from. hfool 01:30, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Merge but don't redirect. --fvw* 11:50, 2004 Dec 24 (UTC)
- Either Keep or merge into Newtype and redirect, since that's what Antaeus' Gundam expert suggested. Bryan 19:36, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep Actually, Psycommu can be stand alone(since it was used from MSG down to V-Gundam), but only with enough contents add in. Luckily, I have plenty of info on psycommu systems, so it will be much more filled up. Give me time by then to decide wheter merge it or keep it as individual. Also, as I stated, it was no more diferent than the technology of Star Trek and Babylon 5. You have to keep in mind that in Japan, Gundam carried the same weight as Star Trek, probaly more, and anime cannot be seen as mere cartoons. -- This unsigned vote was by 207.81.206.168.
