Dates of the Venner revolt
[edit]There is an inconsistency between this page and Fifth Monarchy Men page, see Talk:Fifth Monarchy Men for details.
- I noticed that as well, by golly. --{{SUBST:User:Coryma}} 02:47, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Longest?
[edit]From Long Parliament: "The Long Parliament was an English Parliament which lasted from 1640 until 1660", which is 20 years. Yet this article claims the 18year Cavalier Parliament "was the longest English Parliament". Perhaps it could be changed to "longest continuous" or "longest under a king" or something of the sort? --Lommes (talk) 01:38, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
- I had the same thought. The Long Parliament lasted longer start to finish but did not sit for many years, during which there were other parliaments.
