- Delete: Misnamed rant. The Santorum argument (which he got from an aide) was that same sex marriage based upon equal protection would allow any other group to argue for equal protection to get marriage. It's a slippery slope fallacy, applicable only to the US, and not valid. However, this author doesn't even seem to grasp the argument well. POV, personal essay, inaccurate: delete.
